An automated pipeline that researches, produces and publishes plain-English finance videos.
Fundsplained is a faceless finance-explainer channel run by a resumable, stage-based Node pipeline. From a researched brief, it produces a 16:9 long-form video, a 9:16 Short, a thumbnail and YouTube metadata, then publishes to every platform.
Stages run from topic → brief → fact-check → scenes → voiceover → captions → stills → QA → render → approval → posted. Mechanical stages call scripts (Remotion render, ElevenLabs voiceover with credit checks, caption transcription). Judgement stages are short sandboxed headless Claude Code calls that return JSON. Guards then check the output (narration verbatim from the brief, no invented figures) and roll back the step if a check fails.
There are only two human gates: a fact gate when a claim is unsourced, and a Telegram pre-publish approval. launchd runs the daily schedule.
